    Pope arrives at JBA

    Pope Francis, the 266th pope of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City, landed at Joint Base Andrews airfield Sept. 22, 2015. During his visit he is scheduled to meet with U.S. leaders, the homeless and prisoners. This is the first visit by Pope Francis to the U.S. and the first visit by a pope since 2008.

    459 ARW sets stage for Max Impact

    The 459th Air Refueling Wing supported in the production of a music video for the U.S. Air Force band Max Impact on Joint Base Andrews flightline Aug. 26, 2015. The 459 Maintenance Group provided the set backdrop by positioning a KC-135R Stratotanker alongside two F-16 Fighting Falcons.

    Lt. Col. Scott Clark takes command of 756th ARS

    Lieutenant Colonel Scott Clark took command of the 756th Air Refueling Squadron in an change of command ceremony held July 25, 2015. He replaces Col. Dana Nelson who served as the commander there for two years before leaving for another position. Clark was previously a flight commander within the 756th.
