New Member Snapshot - October

JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. --  Lt. Col. Mark Villacis is the 459th Air Refueling Wing's new snapshot member of the month for October.

The Austin, Texas native is now part of the 459th Operations Support Squadron working as the Director of Operations.

According to Villacis, he said he was given the opportunity to join the 459th, and is excited to be part of the team. He knows the unit has a great past, and hopes to be an added value to continue that greatness for the future.

Villacis has been in the Air Force for 25 years and in the Air Force Reserve since 2000.  His last assignment was at Pentagon working for the joint staff with the strategic plans and policy directorate. 

His hobbies include shooting weapons, flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, and hunting.

"All those high risk activities," said Villacis. 

The 459th Air Refueling Wing welcomes its newest member.
