Col. Bruce Carper retires

Col. Bruce Carper, Commander, 759th Logistics Readiness Flight, retires after having served nearly 28 years in the Air Force Reserve. Col. Carper held his retirement ceremony this past UTA weekend at the 459th Maintenance Squadron in front of family and friends. Col Carper began his military career by enlisting in the Air Force Reserve in August 1996 and served as a C-141B Aircraft Loadmaster. He earned his commission in 1999 from the Academy of Military Science, McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville, Tennessee and would go on to serve in a variety of leadership positions at the flight, squadron, group, and staff level. Col. Carper's retirement ceremony was officiated by Maj. Gen. Vanessa Dornhoefer, Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force.
