Col. Bruce Carper retires

Col. Bruce Carper, Commander, 759th Logistics Readiness Flight, retires after having served nearly 28 years in the Air Force Reserve. Col. Carper held his retirement ceremony May 4, 2024, at the 459th Maintenance Squadron in front of family and friends. Col Carper earned his commission in 1999 from the Academy of Military Science, McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville, Tennessee and since then has served in a variety of leadership positions at the flight, squadron, group, and staff level. Maj. Gen. Vanessa Dornhoefer, Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, officiated the ceremony.
