    Do you use a military pharmacy? If so, there may be temporary limitations that result in s decrease in service or closure at your pharmacy due to COVID-19. To maintain patient and personnel safety, you may have to temporarily switch your prescription to TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery or to a TRICARE retail network pharmacy.

    Joint Base Andrews’ response to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) remains in compliance with federal regulations and supports Maryland and Virginia governors’ statewide stay-at-home orders that will take effect today. “Since declaring a public health emergency and shifting to Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Charlie, we have made significant adjustments to the way we do business,” said Col. Andrew Purath, 11th Wing and JBA commander. “All of the installation measures we have in place support the new executive orders that limit movement to essential trips.”
  • President signs Executive Order calling up Air Force Reserve medics, other specialties

    On March 27, the President signed an Executive Order authorizing mobilization of the Reserve Component in response to COVID-19 operations.  For the Air Force Reserve, personnel already serving in the Selected Reserve and Participating Individual Ready Reserve, as well as those assigned to the Individual Ready Reserve, may be asked to volunteer to activate in support of COVID-19 response.  If taskings exceed the volunteer pool, mobilization of the IRR to active status is now authorized to ensure mission accomplishment.

    Building upon previously enacted movement restrictions governing foreign travel, permanent change of station moves, temporary duty and personal leave, this stop movement order will also impact exercises, deployments, redeployments and other global force management activities. Approximately 90,000 Service Members slated to deploy or redeploy over the next 60 days will likely be impacted by this stop movement order.
