Col. Cynthia Vernier takes command of 459th MXG

Col. Cynthia Vernier assumed command of the 459th Maintenance Group over this past weekend. The Sep. 6, 2025, change of command ceremony was held at the 459th Air Refueling Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Md. The 459th ARW Commander Col. Michael Masuda was the presiding official. Prior to her appointment to the 459th MXG, Col. Vernier was the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Chief of the Maintenance Division, Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations, and Force Protection at the Pentagon.
