Afghanistan Airlift

Sick and wounded troops are taken from a specialized transport vehicle onto a KC-135 Stratotanker at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The KC-135 was manned by Airmen from the 931st Air Refueling Group who volunteered for a 12-day aeromedical evacuation mission that included four trips from Germany to Afghanistan.
