Mae Krier "Rosie the Riveter" visit's the 459th ARW
Mae Krier, an original “Rosie the Riveter” who helped build B-17s and B-29s during WWII, speaks to Lt. Col Brian Fisher, 756th Air Refueling Squadron commander, while on a tour at the 459th Air Refueling Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Md., April 30, 2019. Krier led a successful campaign for National Rosie the Riveter Day which led to a unanimous Congressional approval in 2017. It is now observed during Women’s History Month on March 21.
