"Fly Girls of WWII" exhibit opens in Arlington
Col James Allman, vice commander of the 459th Air Refueling Wing shares a laugh Lilian Yonally, World War II Women Air Force Service Pilot while attending the "Fly Girls of World War II" exhibit which opened Nov. 14 at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial in Arlington, Va. Approximately 25 WASPs attended the opening ceremony. WASPs were the first U.S. military-trained women aviators in history.
