Strike up the band
ARLINGTON, Va. -- A tuba player with the Air Force Band plays "God Bless America" during the Air Force Combat Action Medal ceremony June 12. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley presented six Airmen with the medal at the Air Force Memorial. The Airmen were the first in history to receive the new medal. Among the recipients was Master Sgt.
