Meeting with an original Tuskegee Airman
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Lt. Col. Venessa Mattox (far right), 459th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron commander, and Lt. Col. Eric Jenkins, 459th Operations Support Flight commander, share a laugh with Lt. Col. (ret.) George Hardy, an original Tuskegee Airman, at the Tuskegee Airmen convention, here July 30. Colonel Mattox and Colonel Jenkins joined other 459th Air Refueling Wing Airmen at the convention, which was held from July 28 - July 31. 459th ARW members had the opportunity to attend military forums and meet with Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen.
