Pilot for a Day alum get treated to Open House
JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. --Tech. Sgt. Michael Kirkendall, Presidential Logistics Squadron communication navigator gives special Air Force One M&M’s to Elijah Davis, Pilot for a Day alum here May 20. The 201st Airlift Wing, The 113th Wing and The 459th Air Refueling Wing sponsored the Pilot for a Day 2011 Reunion here during the Joint Service Open House. The Pilot for a Day program offers children with serious illnesses a special day to be an Air Force pilot, giving them a break from whatever challenges they may face.
