Reserve maintenance crew keeps engines running during NATO exercise
KEFLAVIK, Iceland -- Master Sgt. Lionel Washington, 459th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief and team leader marshalls a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 459th Air Refueling Wing for takeoff during the 2011 Northern Viking exercise here June 8. Northern Viking tests the capabilities of Iceland and the country's NATO allies, as well as "increase the readiness of the forces involved and their interoperability."
