JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md.,- Spouses of senior leaders tour a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft from the 459th Air Refueling Wing here, during a Senior Leader’s Orientation Course, July 26, 2012. The SLOC is an annual event designed for newly promoted one-star generals, their spouses and senior executive leaders. The course is broken up into two sections; one for the generals, and one for the spouses. During the five-day spouse course, the 85 participants from around the U.S. Air Force toured different aircraft, visited the 779th Aeromedical Staging Facility, met with a wounded warrior panel, and learned about different resources to bring back to their respective installations.
