U.S. Air Force Col. Gary Dickinson, vice wing commander of the 459th Air Refueling Wing, and Jens Hanefeld, Minister Deputy Chief of Mission Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Washington, D.C., walk and talk about Air Force missions during a visit to Joint Base Andrews, Md., Oct. 17. The visit included a base tour, demonstrations from the 11th Wing Security Force’s working dog team, The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team, The U.S. Air Force Band Max Impact and aircraft displays from the 459th ARW, 1st Helicopter Squadron and the 113th Wing. The German Embassy goes out into the community each year and their visits rotate between the different branches of the embassy.
