JBA Looking for Volunteer Speakers

According Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, every Airman has a story. The 11th Wing Public Affairs Office is looking for Airmen who enjoy getting out in the community to share their Air Force stories.

The 11th Wing Speakers Bureau is now accepting requests for speakers from external public organizations. The purpose of the speakers bureau is to match senior leaders and Airmen from all ranks - civilian, officer and enlisted - with interested audiences in an effort to foster understanding of the Air Force mission. The bureau is focused on community outreach activities in and around the National Capital Region, and can be a valuable resource for clubs and organizations to learn more about the Air Force and the people who perform our mission.

Speakers are invited to speak on a wide variety of subjects, including:

- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
- Air Force history
- Air Force medicine and health professions
- Leadership and management
- Air Force career or educational opportunities
- Air Force Academy, ROTC and Officer Training School
- Civil Service opportunities
- Communications and computers
- Meteorology/weather
- Ethnic heritage and history
- Women in the Air Force

From training to your daily missions to personal experiences, Airmen now have the opportunity to tell audiences throughout the NCR about the Air Force by joining the Speakers Bureau.
