2K walk/challenge to benefit Combined Federal Campaign Published Oct. 22, 2012 By 459th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- WHERE: MPF Track, corner of Arkansas and Arnold Avenues WHEN: Tuesday, Oct 30th, 0800 (due to early AM light, 0700 deemed unsafe) WHO: All Joint Base Andrews members/employees, spouses, and family WHY: October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. In recognition of that, this event will highlight those within the wing who are facing challenges, both mental and physical and ask everyone to take this challenge with them. HOW: Show up, sign in, donate and go! (2K = ~ three laps of that track, each lap is 0.5 miles) Lt. Col. Brown is looking for 25 volunteers to man the track, and to support anyone requiring assistance. UOD is ABU's with reflective belt.
