The 69th Aerial Port Squadron welcomed home a 69th APS alum at a change of command ceremony March 6.

Major Robert Hamilton relinquished command of the 69th APS to Maj. Justin O'Brien.

This won't be the first time O'Brien has served with the 69th APS though. The newly-reigning commander was an Airman at the squadron from 1994 to 1998 and then returned to be an operations officer in 1999 until 2006.

"It is great to be back at the 69th Aerial Port Squadron" said O'Brien. "This is the biggest squadron at the wing, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as its commander."

After both commanders recognized loved ones and gave parting and accepting speeches, a short reception took place where Airmen said goodbyes and gave O'Brien a welcome home.
