JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- About 30 Aviation Career Education Academy students visited the wing on July 12, 2022, to get a close look at the 459th Air Refueling Wing's KC-135 Stratotanker Aircraft. This aircraft tour is part of the students aviation education. The ACE Academy is a Federal Aviation Administration program that provides unique summer aviation education programs for elementary, middle and high school students interested in aviation and aerospace. The program provides students with a wide range of aviation career exploration experiences and also focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Kudos to Ops and Maintenance for providing another great tour!
