JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. -- Airmen from the 69th Aerial Port Squadron, 'Port Dawgs,' took part in the annual Port Dawg Memorial Run here, May 15, 2022. The concept for the run began at Kadena Air Base, Japan, in 2013, to honor Air Transportation Airmen who lost their lives over the previous year. This year's run is in remembrance of seven aerial port Airmen who died last year. Members in the career field say "they are 'blocked out,' but not forgotten."
