The 459th Air Refueling Wing held its quarterly Commander's Call Jan. 10 to update wing members on wing activities, programs, statuses regarding safety, public affairs, the Air Reserve Technician program as well as hearing comments from the command chief and wing commander.

The Commander's Call was followed by a Block Training session supplying wing members with needed ancillary training. Airmen have annual requirements to complete training in several subject areas, to include: antiterrorism, suicide awareness, operational security, human trafficking, information security and protection.

During intermissions, wing members were allotted time to receive the much awaited H1N1 Influenza shots in preparation for the possibility of an increased amount of cases of the H1N1 flu this season. Hand sanitizer was distributed to wing members for use in offices in order to prevent the spread of illness and keep Airmen healthy.
