459 ARW members provide deployment feedback

Joint Base Andrews, Md. --  Mr. Robert Smiley, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness, Training and Mobilization met with leadership and members of the 459th Air Refueling Wing April 7 to gather feedback on mobilization training for deploying units and to gather information regarding best practices.

Mr. Smiley spoke with Airmen about their pre- and post-mobilzation experience and asked for candid feedback on programs, such as: Yellow Ribbon, Post 911 GI Bill, TRICARE Select and others.

Information gathered will be forwarded to help meet the stated intent of Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Dennis M. McCarthy to "proactively deliver credible advice and information about the capabilities and resources of the Reserve Components."
