459 ARW command post Airman receives award Published Feb. 11, 2011 ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- 459th Air Refueling Wing command post specialist, Senior Airman Jonathon Hazel, was among the winners that recently earned the Air Force Reserve Command's 2010 command and control award. The 927th Air Refueling Wing, MacDill AFB, Fla., boasts the top large command post, and the 507th ARW, Tinker AFB, Okla., has the best small command post. Senior Master Sgt. Semaj O. McGhee, 940th Wing, Beale AFB, Calif., was named the top command post senior NCO. Tech. Sgt. Shane W. Leavitt, 75th Air Base Wing at Hill AFB, Utah, was picked as the best command post NCO, and Airman Hazel, 459th ARW, Joint Base Andrews, Md., was selected the outstanding command post airman. Two NCOs at Headquarters AFRC, Robins AFB, received controller awards. They are Senior Master Sgt. James W. Scott in the senior NCO category and Tech. Sgt. Melissa A. Vela in the NCO category.
