Liberators,
It is with great sorrow that I must inform you we lost a member of the 459 ARW family this past weekend. While each of us manages loss in our own way, grief is a natural response. Please assist me in ensuring that we’re vigilant and supportive of one another during this difficult time.
When confronting loss, as well as life’s other challenges, I encourage you to utilize the resources available. The Air Force provides services through our Chaplains, Director of Psychological health, Airman and Family Readiness, Military 1 Source, and the Employee Assistance Program to name just a few.
Being a part of this community is a full time job and each member of this Wing is an invaluable asset. Early intervention is key in preventing problems from escalating into seemingly hopeless and unmanageable situations. Work through your First Sergeants and chain of command or contact these resources directly. It is in the squadrons and shops that resilient communities are built, so take a few moments to connect with your coworkers and let them know we’re here for each other.
