Why do you serve?

Like most people, I take pride in utilizing my strengths to help others. The Air Force has offered me both the training and a multitude of opportunities to accomplish that. For this I am grateful.

How does your job impact the wing's mission?

In my time at the 11th Wing, I’ve found that every task America’s Airmen complete is in its own way crucial to project airpower and diplomacy from America's Airfield. As a photojournalist with the 11th Wing Public Affairs office my primary job is to document all that our Airmen do. I hope my documentation is used to relay those accomplishments to the public, help our families and friends see and understand how we serve, inspire a future generation of Airmen and show proof of our contributions to the world's most powerful Air Force.

Coolest thing you've done in the military?

Watching two former North Korean detainees, rejoicing, as they exited the aircraft onto the JBA flight line for their first time on U.S. soil.
