Hazel Ying Lee, on the left side of the photo, is a WWII WASP who flew P-63 Kingcobras across the U.S. to be delivered to Russian allies, serves as an inspiration to Col. Janette Thode, on the right side of the photo. Thode is the Vice Wing Commander of the 459th Air Refueling Wing.
