New Member Snapshot - July
JOINT BASE ANDREWS, Md. --
Senior Airman Matthew McCartney is the 459th Air Refueling Wing's new snapshot member of the month for July.
The Ohio native is now part of the 459th Air Refueling Wing working in ground and safety management.
"I am looking forward to learning about the safety career field," said McCartney, who is headed to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, next week for Ground Safety technical school.
This is McCartney's first reserve assignment since coming off of active duty at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
In his free time he enjoys fishing, hunting and going out on a boat.
